The secrets of the Centennial Olive Tree, the life cycle of the different varieties of olives or the methods of harvesting; are some of the curiosities that you will discover in this visit through the most impressive landscapes at the foot of Sierra Nevada. The 15th century olive oil mill we will visit seems to be timeless. Unique in its kind and located in the traditional white village area of the Meadows Granada, we discover a colorful and contrasting landscape. In a commented tasting, you will taste a selection of the best Andalusian variety of extra virgin olive oil, flavoured oils, vinegar, salts and olives.

We accompany you to discover a 15th century olive oil mill, the differences between the traditional process and modern techniques for the production of olive oil. You will also discover its health benefits, cosmetic properties and culinary uses, as well as a careful selection of top quality products in its specialist shop: olive oil, cosmetics, cured ham, wines, cheeses and traditional inlay.
In the tasting you will have the opportunity to taste 5 of the most excellent varieties of Olive Oil, with fruity, spicy and bitter flavours, depending on the type of olive tree: arbequino, hojiblanco, picual, manzanillo, and frantoio.
The visit continues by visiting the picturesque landscapes of orange, lemon and almond trees of the Lecrín Valley, until arriving at an exquisite typical inn for its local specialties of season: remojón, stows fennel, gazpacho, roast ham, veals fillet, migas, etc. The lunch includes first and second course, wine, dessert and coffee.
